Finncon 2018 does not have an official con hotel. Instead it has reserved a room quota from three hotels in different price categories: Hotelli Helmi, Centro Hotel, and Sokos Hotel City Börs. You can book a room by calling or emailing the hotel in question and giving the booking code ‘Finncon2018’.
We recommend that you start looking for a place to stay well ahead of the event, because we cannot guarantee that there will be enough rooms for all the visitors. You can find some further details on each of the hotels below. For more information, visit the hotels’ own webpages.
Hotelli Helmi
Tuureporinkatu 11 (right next to the bus station)
Room prices:
A single room 75 €/night
A double room 93 €/night
A triple room 115 €/night
The prices include a buffet breakfast and WLAN. The quota expires on 31.05.2018.
Centro Hotel
Yliopistonkatu 12 (A peaceful location a short distance from the Turku Market Square)
Room prices:
A single room 98 €/night
A twin room 120 €/night
The prices include a buffet breakfast, WLAN, sauna facilites, and the right to use some of Motivus Centrum’s gym facilites. The quota is still valid as long as there are rooms left.
Sokos Hotel City Börs
Kauppiaskatu 6 (Right by the Market Square)
Room prices:
A single Standard room 138 €/night
A twin Standard room 148 €/night
An extra bed 30 €/night
The prices include a buffet breakfast, WLAN, and sauna and swimming facilities (located at the Hamburger Börs hotel across the street). Additional discounts in Sokos Wiklund department store and the Wiklund Pharmacy for S-Card holders. The room quota expires 02.06.2018.
Other larger hotels within a 2 km distance from the University of Turku are Holiday Club Caribia, Scandic Julia, Cumulus City Turku, Omena Hotel Turku, and Hesehotelli Hotel. Out of hostels, Guesthouse Tapuli, Bed & Breakfast Tuure, and Guesthouse Majatalo Kupittaa are close by.
